Meet Maria, our esteemed Dental Hygienist, who brings a decade of experience and a profound passion for dental hygiene to our practice. Holding an Associate of Dental Hygiene from Midlands Technical College and having studied Health Science at the University of South Carolina, Maria has always felt destined for a career in healthcare. Her decision to specialize in dental hygiene was driven by a desire to develop lasting relationships with her patients, underscoring her practice with personal care and attention.

Beginning her journey in South Carolina, Maria has dedicated ten years to providing exceptional dental hygiene services. Her experience spans a wide range of dental practices, allowing her to witness and contribute to the transformative power of comprehensive dental care. Maria’s passion for dentistry goes beyond the technical aspects of her role; she values the opportunity to work within a team and appreciates the holistic approach to patient wellness that dental hygiene offers.

Away from the dental chair, Maria leads an active and fulfilling life. She is an avid tennis player, enjoys walking, and cherishes the time spent watching her children grow and excel in their personal, athletic, and academic pursuits. Married for 22 years to Chris, her childhood neighbor and now a fellow healthcare professional, Maria is the proud mother of two wonderful children, Turner and Claire. The family’s love for travel has taken them on memorable adventures to Munich, Costa Rica, and Madrid, with Italy high on their future travel list.

Having lived in the East Cobb area for 13 years, Maria has deeply integrated into the community, bringing her expertise, warmth, and passion for dental health to our practice. If she had one wish, it would be the ability to teleport, allowing her to visit her family in Utah whenever she wished, a testament to her love for family and adventure.
