Hi there, Dr. Ashish Patel to talk to you about a concept that you might have heard a lot about, it’s called “All-On-Four.” There’s a lot of names for this kind of procedure and basically what all-on-4 means it’s an implant-supported prosthesis to replace somebody that’s missing all of their teeth. There’s other names for this, like “Teeth in a Day.”
There’s a couple big places that advertise on TV that that’s what they do, that’s what they’re specialized in. These types of reconstructions are becoming more and more common. We actually do them here in our office. These are some before and afters that you’re looking at and on your screen.
All-On-4 Process
The process basically involves taking out all the remaining bad decaying or badly gum disease teeth and then replacing implants in the exact same day and then on that same day, having a set of teeth that’s attached to the implants so you never have something that’s removable – it’s always fixed. That’s the big advantage of teeth in a day or all-on-4 or this fixed hybrid prosthesis is just what we’re talking about.
