Hello, my name is Dr. Danielle Bauman. I’m an associate dentist here at Dentistry at East Piedmont.
I completed dental school at the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta and graduated in the top five percent of my class. I went on to do a residency after school in a very highly regarded program, where I just gained a lot, a lot of tools to be able to serve patients better. So I’m trained in IV sedation, oral surgery, endodontics, and cosmetics.
Following residency, my husband and I moved to Tennessee, and I lived and practiced out there for a few years.
My personal practice philosophy is to treat every patient like family, and to me that just means being as gentle and as conservative as I possibly can. If there’s treatment that absolutely has to be done, I like to help educate patients on all their options and help guide them to make a choice that’s best for them.
Dr. Levine was actually the one that initially drew me to this office. I graduated dental school with her, and we were classmates and good friends. After I saw the building and met Dr. Patel, I was completely sold. Something I really admire about Dr. Patel is he is always asking himself, “How can we make this better?” And that is just evidenced by the high quality of patient care we’re able to give, and also all the technology that he’s invested in. So I strive to be more like Dr. Patel, and I’m just really excited to be here.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family. I’ve been married to my husband, Paul, for about seven years, and we have a 14-month-old son named Jonah at home. He takes up most of our free time, but outside of that, we love walking, hiking, and just trying new restaurants and new foods.
I look forward to continuing the tradition of excellence at Dentistry at East Piedmont. Next time you’re at the office, pop by and say hey.
