Dr. Ashish Patel founded Dentistry at East Piedmont in 2001 after seeing how impersonal dental care could become when speed mattered more than people. He wanted to build the opposite kind of practice. A place where patients were known by name, the clinical work was precise, and every visit carried the warmth of being treated like family.
That founding idea still shapes the practice today. It's why our three-doctor team trains together, learns together, and coordinates care together. It's also why patients who started with us in 2001 are still here, now bringing in their children and grandchildren.

More than 25 years later, Dentistry at East Piedmont is still growing with the people it serves. Dr. Patel continues to invest in digital scanning, CEREC same-day crowns, Guided Biofilm Therapy, sedation options, and the training that helps dentistry feel more precise, more comfortable, and more personal.
Today, Dr. Bauman, Dr. Neha, and Dr. Patel bring different strengths to the same shared standard. Cosmetic artistry, restorative precision, comfort, and long-term trust all live under one roof.

Dr.Patel and his excellent staff created and installed a Maryland Bridge, and one Veneer for me. There are not enough superlatives to express how pleased I am with my treatment and services. Dr.Patel is not only a genius, but also happens to be the kindest, most thoughtful, most loving person I think I’ve ever met in a business situation. He did not have to send my dental mold out to a lab to create my bridge and veneer. He actually made them himself there in his Office On a 3-D printer. This saved me time and money by not having to send them out to a lab to be made. It also gave Dr.Patel the creative license to make them exactly how he thought they should look. And they look wonderful! I cannot be any happier and proud of my new teeth. Dr.Patel gave me back my smile! For the past 12 years, I have not been able to just smile naturally for a photograph. Love this place. Love the fact that I can watch Netflix throughout the procedure. Everyone here is very friendly. They were able to work around my schedule on short notice, and got the work done very quickly. Another great visit today!
