Hi there, Dr. Ashish Patel to talk to you today about three ways of replacing your teeth. So the three general ways are:
1. Partial or Denture
These are removable devices that can replace multiple teeth. The hard part about this is they are removable and they’re kind of uncomfortable. The good part about it is they tend to be the most cost-effective way.
2. Bridge
Many people have heard of a bridge; that’s where we put two crowns on either side and then have a tooth in the middle that we kind of suspend. So these bridges have been done for many, many years, the materials have gotten a whole lot better. We now do them out of zirconium, which is a really super strong white metal. They look really aesthetic and they can be used to replace one tooth or multiple teeth.
3. Implant
Implant technology’s come a long ways, the price continues to improve. The technology to do implants predictably has changed quite a bit. Implants can be used to replace one tooth or an entire arch, it’s how we sometimes do smile makeovers for people with hopeless teeth.
So any of these three options are great options to replace your missing teeth. If you’d like to explore some options for yourself, please give our office a call for a complimentary consult.
